Re: Fran Cove

I've often said that I would sleep on my motorcycle before I would stay at Fran Cove again; but good luck to the new owners.

Re: Expo

I don't believe that you could ever get one day passes by pre registering on line, or by mail, for that matter. Pre registration is for the whole week, with or without options, and includes unlimited entry to The Expo, Demos, seminars and such. Day passes include most items, including the Expo, but ...

Re: Expo

I got my "packet" today, I see nothing all that new or different except for a new guided/ unguided tour or 3, and the Saturday Canada St. parade seems to have been replaced by a charity ride departing from Glens Falls and ending at the Boat pier; this will be our 23 straight year, and unle...

Re: Expo

That's a very good question, maybe we'll find out next week when the official " invitations" come out.
I guess it depends on how many vendors have signed up.

Re: BOARD SEEMS QUIET

We arrived Monday early afternoon, checked into The Comfort Suites, suited up for the rain, rode to the Holiday Inn to register, on to Mario's for dinner, and then to the Fort for the Yamaha Star Venture unveiling where I won a 5 year extension to my Rider Magazine subscription for knowing what year...

Re: Parking stickers

You people do realize that the PP, or pre paid parking sticker, is just a convenience so you don't have to "feed the parking meters." At $1.00 an hour, you will break even in 2, maybe 3 days, even though the cost has now gone to $15.00. You do not HAVE to buy one, it's optional, a good dea...

Re: WEATHER

I just spoke to my hotel to confirm my reservations, and was told it's been raining pretty much every day all spring, But on the bright side, maybe all that pollen has washed away and my allergies won't bother me!!! Either way, the weather has never stopped us from vacationing in the Adirondacks for...

Re: WEATHER

Really nice to see those low temperatures day and night. Truthfully, I can tolerate the rain way more than the intensely high temperatures we have had in previous years. We try to practice ATGATT , but I'll admit, when it's really hot and muggy, the jackets go in the saddle bag!

Re: Yamaha To Unveil New Model at Americade!

It's obvious that Yamaha will be aiming at "experienced" riders, that's a nice way of saying "us old guys", so I'm guessing an all out touring bike, or heavy cruiser ala Royal Star. I think that the market is there, not as it once was, but Indian seems to be doing very well, and ...

Re: Actually Excited....

[quote="Ryck"][quote="Mainah"] If you know what you want for options staying at the FWH (headquarters) is a good option. Looking at the lodging options in Lake George the rooms are a good value especially considering you get the basic registration included. Registration is quick ...
