Re: Dead in the water...

I agree Bill, first year I went to Americade was in 1999, had bought my first motorcycle a 750 Honda Shadow ACE in March of that year, saw an ad for Americade in a motorcycle mag and decided to go, don't know what year I saw their website, might have been that year, but it was always lively, people ...

Re: Winners & Daily Raffle

Frank - The message board is in a state of limbo until we can decide how to change the registration process. There's a backlog of 1800+ spammers trying to gain access from all over the world. For now, staff is holding off on tending it for the time being. Thanks WC, sad to hear that, looking back a...

Winners & Daily Raffle

Hi, boy is it quiet here! Couple comments: 1) where is the winners of the skill events, slow race etc. 2) Bike judging winners 3) was there a light parade? Suggestion: The daily prize raffle tickets you get at registration, was the FWH the only place you could check to see if you won, it was a pain ...

Re: TOUR EXPO

Some comments; enjoyed Americade, I liked the weather, cloudy and cooler, but no major rain. Each year Americade seems to "pack" in more things in an area. Fort William Henry is not a place I'll bring my bike in to, getting way too crowded and if there's a major rain event, parking on the ...

Re: Fort William Henry Question

This year my husband and I are finally getting to return to Americade! In the past we have always stayed off site but this time since all the events are at one location we decided to stay at the FWH. I am wondering if someone can answer a question in reference to the FWH? Usually when you stay at a...

Re: Fran Cove

WOW ... Denver is just up the road from me. I am in South Charlotte. In fact one of my riding buddies lives in Denver. Having made the trip dozens of times I have lots of suggestions for motels, restaurants, good gas stops, etc. Shoot me an e-mail at rstarrider@carolina.rr.com and I will get you so...

Re: Fran Cove

The Americade "regulars" staying there has turned over a bit and as in the past is a great group. I ride up with a buddy from NC and will be doing the same again and looking forward to spending time with the other 5-7 folks who are our Americade family. Last year we had a guy from the BMW...

Re: Any one demo a Motortrike at Americade?

Thanks for all your helpful responses! My experience with a trike was when I took a demo ride on a Boss Hoss trike during Americade, they were down the road at one of the outlets mall. I'm having my Valkyrie converted with a Roadsmith kit after Americade, down in NC I'll be riding it home to MA, abo...

Re: Any one demo a Motortrike at Americade?

I've seen them set up At FWH and people riding in a small area, do they actually take you out on the road for a ride, if so how long is it?

Thanks, have you ridden a trike before?, if not how did you feel riding it? I understand there is a learning curve

But there demos ARE ON BEACH ROAD. I called BRP a couple weeks ago to see if one could register early for a demo li...

Expanded Schedule Detailed Information

Hi, when does the schedule come out that has more information?, an example is the detailed list for the seminars, who's speaking, what the seminar is about, dates/times

Will this be posted on line, or is it mailed?

Thanks

Re: Block Party Question

Will be interesting to see how much of the street will be closed and what time it's closed

Will this be the end of "cruise" night with all the bikes going and coming, parking and walking around

When will a layout and information of the block dance be coming?

Thanks
