I don't know how this works nor how bands are selected to play at Americade but in the interest of Americade I'd like to recommend one from personal experience.
The Long Island Maritime Museum (http://www.limaritime.org/index.html) is having its annual seafood festival this weekend which I attended yesterday. Aside from the attractions at the museum itself, the usual vendor fair, and, of course, the seafood offerings, was this live band. They were amazing.
The band is called The 45rpm Band (https://www.the45rpmband.com) which played classic memorable rock titles of the 60s, 70s, and 80s which had everyone dancing, swaying, and singing all day whether they were young or Baby Boomer and beyond, standing or laying on the grass. They had a great repertoire and rendering of songs. They have amazing energy and just kept going with hits after hits. The crowds loved them.
I don't know this band. I don't know the members. I'm just saying they were a hit with me. I think Americaders will like the performance of this band. So, here they are for Americade consideration.
My two cents.
